Additional Information

  • This PC board is a great replacement for 110V, single-motor model central vacuums with a single control board or separate relay. Retrofitting may be required for the install.

This model contains a relay, transformer, a 15A mini breaker and two pairs of low voltage leads.

The PC board is 2" high from the base of the board to the top of the reset button. The reset button and the low voltage stems are both threaded. When the two stems are put through the holes in the body of the unit, they hold the board in place with two included mounting nuts. If the unit does not already have a proper mounting hole for the installation you can use a drill and step bit to create one.

Please Note: As this is an electrical part, please take proper precautions before installation. The entire process should take less than an hour.

    Wiring locations on the board:
    1. LINE: The 110V line from the power cord
    2. NTL: The neutral wire from the power cord
    3. MOTOR: Connect either wire from the motor to this contact
    4. MOTOR: Connect the other wire from the motor to this contact
    5. Black Tower: Low voltage wires from the home will attach to the two 1/4" male flag connectors inside the black tower part of the board.
    6. Yellow Wires: Connect to an on/off low voltage switch on the side of the tank or are unused

4 of 5 Part worked but needed to rewire vacuum to use it September 16, 2024
Reviewer: BRIAN GROSS from North Andover, MA United States
I needed a replacement relay board for older model. What came did work as specified but I needed to completely rewire the power to the motor. Not a DIY job if you are not familiar with electrical appliances.

5 of 5 Replaced old Nutone board January 20, 2024
Reviewer: Kenneth Swartzentruber Jr from Washington, IN United States
My almost 20 year old Nutone quit. Thought it was the motor and changed it. Still wouldn't work.  Decided it must be the circuit board. Discovered that the original board was no longer made. Went on Central Vacum site and found a board that they said should replace it. Ordered it and when it arrived I installed it. Sweeper is once again working. Thanks for helping this tightwad fix his sweeper!
