We built out house in August 1996 and installed this Beam Central Vacuum System. It would have been nice if there were some specific assembly instructions for this unit. I finally figured out that the two indentations on the hose have to be aligned perfectly for the two halves to come together. It took me around 20 minutes to figure this out. Other than that, the new hose handle is working well.

Searched the internet to find a handle for my older model beam vacuum. Tried several sites with no success. Got in touch with Central Vacuum Direct, sent them a picture of what I had and they were able to help me right away. Ordered the part and it arrived in just a couple days and was exactly what I needed.
