The motor tends to be the most expensive replacement part for any central vacuum system and it's also a good idea to replace the filter when you're replacing the motor. This process can add to not only the overall cost of the repair but the time you'll spend as well. Keeping in mind that replacement motors will only have a one(1) year warranty, another option to consider would be to replace the entire power unit in favor of a newer model. Newer power units can have up to a twenty(20) year, no-strings-attached, warranty and will often be quieter too!

Central Vacuum Motor Replacement	February 7, 2016

I ordered a vacuum motor to replace one that was no longer working. I was advised to order a certain model number which turned out to be the wrong motor. I returned the motor and the correct replacement was sent to me. The entire process took less than two weeks and the cooperation with your people was exceptional. Thank you very much!
