Repair of a hose handle |

We had a plastic hose handle that came with the hose. It broke off and I had a heck of a time getting the broken part of the plastic handle out of the metal tube, but did finally. The replacement metal hose handle seemed a little loose when reattached to the hose. I tried applying a Kwik Seal around the outside of the hose and inside of the hose handle. Waiting to see if it will hold, but it is too early to know. If it doesn't hold, I am open to any suggestions. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the order.
